I love working with the Dress Up Riley Stamps and Dies.
Here I started with the Red Rubber Basic Stamps and Dies. I added the ice skating dress from the Winter Accessories and topped it off the with the skirt from the Summer Fun Accessories. For fun I layered the pinwheel with a small brad so that it will move and added a popsicle. All of this is layered on the Nesting Ovals with pierced dots.
Things are all a flutter with Butterflies over at the Prickley Pear Blog today. The team has worked on a variety of cards using butterflies and a few dragonflies.
I used the Dainty Dragonflies Clear Stamps and Die and Butterflies 2 and Die. I stamped at the images on both paper and a piece of plastic film. I colored them with my Copic markers. I stapled the plastic to the cardstock and covered the staple with Stickles.
I used the Mini Butterfly Clear Stamp Set and Mini Butterfly Die The flowers were stamped on prints made with my Gelli Arts Gel Plate and the butterflies were die cut from papers created with ColorBursts.

You never really want to need sympathy cards, but it is part of the circle of life. To create this card I used the Tree 2 Die and the Memory Becomes a Treasure stamp. I used the negative space left from die cutting the trees to ink the trees in the background. Using my MISTI, I was able to split the sentiment between the front of the card and inside.

I don’t know where July went, and can’t believe it is already August. I totally forgot to post my cards for July. So let’s just rewind a bit.
Of course I have another Mushroom Lane House, today is the Library. The colors were influenced by a recent visit to the local children’s library.
My next card features Riley Dress Up Stamp and Die, the barbell and shorts come from the Sports Accessories Clear Stamp and Die, the sentiment is Abs are Great and two of the new Karen Burniston dies Cup Cake Pop-Up Die Set and the Tree Pop-Up Die Set. (I used the Pop-Up feature for the tree to make Riley pop up.)

When thinking of stars and stripes, many people think of red, white and blue. I picked a more colorful palette. On the 4th of July, hand churned ice cream (we had a hand cranked ice cream maker and everyone took a turn) was always a part of the celebration. So in honor of the tradition I chose the Build an Ice Cream Cone Clear Stamp Set and matching die.
Thanks for stopping by.
On the inside I used VersaMark Ink to create a subtle background paper. To make the card gender neutral I stamped the sentiment with out the flower flourish at the bottom. I also add a small pocket to hold a gift card. Who wouldn’t enjoy receiving this card.

It is a card bonanza over at Riley and Co. I have loved using the summer time images of Riley. Here I used the Dress Up Riley Stamps and Basic Die Set, the Riley Sports Clear Stamps and Sport Die Set, the waves from the Summer Fun Die Set, the Nesting Ovals with dots and Moose Sayings 1.
This card with BBQ Riley makes a great guy card. It can easily be changed to a Father’s Day card.
For the front of the card I used Dress Up Riley Stamps and Basic Die Set, the Summer Fun Accessories Clear Stamps and Summer Fun Accessories Dies, and Plant a Seed of Kindness. When you plant a seed of kindness it is fun to see what happens. The inside of the cards is a surprise.
This is one of the new dies designed by Karen Burniston in cahoots with Riley. I have loved woking with Karen’s new dies. This is the Flower Pot Pop-Up Die Set. On the front and inside I also used the Nature’s Edges Die Set, and the label from the Katherine Label Pop-Up Die Set.

Stay tuned for more inspiration.
I am back this week with the Riley and Co. Card Bonanza. I have three fun cards to share this week. First up is a step card featuring Felix with a Balloon, although I did cut off the balloon string and attached it with a wire. I also stamped and cut out additional balloons. I used the Now That I Am Old birthday greeting and cut it up to fit on the card. I think the wiggle eyes make the card fun.
Here I used Tucker the dog and the Aspire to Be sentiment. Tucker is thinking about how good Riley is at horseshoes. It looks like Riley isn’t doing too great with two horseshoes on his antlers from the Sports Accessories Clear Stamps and dies and the Square Word Bubble Dies.
But inside the card you can see that there are 2 ringers. Everything isn’t always what it appears to be. The Happy Father’s Day is part of the Everyday Sayings.
Last is a slider card that is just fun. The stamp is Balloons Riley. Pull the tab at the top ….
