It’s a Celebration at Prickley Pear

You can never have too many birthday cards on hand. This fun card uses the Build a Cupcake Clear Stamp Set and the coordinating die.

On the inside I used VersaMark Ink to create a subtle background paper. To make the card gender neutral I stamped the sentiment with out the flower flourish at the bottom. I also add a small pocket to hold a gift card. Who wouldn’t enjoy receiving this card.

Riley and Co. Card Bonanza for June 2017

It is a card bonanza over at Riley and Co. I have loved using the summer time images of Riley. Here I used the Dress Up Riley Stamps and Basic Die Set, the Riley Sports Clear Stamps and Sport Die Set, the waves from the Summer Fun Die Set, the Nesting Ovals with dots and Moose Sayings 1.

This card with BBQ Riley makes a great guy card. It can easily be changed to a Father’s Day card.

For the front of the card I used Dress Up Riley Stamps and Basic Die Set, the Summer Fun Accessories Clear Stamps and Summer Fun Accessories Dies, and Plant a Seed of Kindness. When you plant a seed of kindness it is fun to see what happens. The inside of the cards is a surprise.

This is one of the new dies designed by Karen Burniston in cahoots with Riley. I have loved woking with Karen’s new dies. This is the Flower Pot Pop-Up Die Set. On the front and inside I also used the Nature’s Edges Die Set, and the label from the Katherine Label Pop-Up Die Set.

We are sharing some of our projects with featuring the stamps and dies released in May.  These stamps and dies were so much fun to work with. I think the birdhouses and tulips were my favorite.

To create this card I started by stamping the Spring Tulip Large, (masking as needed). Then I stamped the Tiny Tulip (again masking as needed). I created the paper fence mask and taped it over the card. The Large Birdhouses and the Small Birdhouse were stamped next. Leaving the masks in place it inked the background. I used Prisma Colored pencils to color the design.

What a great encouragement card this would make. I used the Cora the Fairy and You Are stamps. I stamped Cora 3 times to create the layers and added Wink of Stella to the wings.

Thanks for stopping by.

Celebrating Dads with Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps

With Father’s Day only a few days away, today the DT for Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps is celebrating all dads. Here is a card I made for my dad (luckily he is not computer guy, so my secret is safe).

To create the image I stamped the Tools ATC and the Any Man Can stamps on black cardstock with Silver Delicata Ink. I used my MISTI so I could stamp them multiple times.
