We should all follow Riley’s example and Hold Hands Not Grudges. I used the new Riley Red Rubber Basic Stamp Set, Basic Die Set, and Hold Hands.
For the inside I folded copy paper to fit just inside the die. Then I used my MISTI to stamp the images on the cut outs. Riley is almost symmetrical, so he can be stamped on the reverse side of the cutouts.
I paired the Red Rubber Basic Stamp Set, Basic Die Set, Clear Accessories Starter Set and Dies, Clear Winter Accessories and Dies, and Not Grey Hairs. I added glitter strands to Riley’s head for grey glitter hairs. His cane is the ski pole.
Since spring is finally here, I created a colorful Easter card with the Easter Basket stamp. A little secret on my die cut Easter eggs, they are actually a balloon punch with the tied piece cut off. I am always looking for other ways to use my supplies.

Today I am featured in the Designer Highlight on the Riley & Co Blog. I live in Northwest Indiana with my husband of 28 years. I have a daughter who is married to a Marine. I love all types of creative and crafty things as well as using my creativity to come up with ingenious solutions. I began scrapbooking when our daughter was born. I retired from teaching school a few years ago to focus on paper crafting. In addition to working at my local scrapbook store designing and teaching multiple classes each week. I now spend most of the time in my studio on cards and mixed media projects. I enjoy taking a stamped image and using colors and layers to turn it into a unique creation. As a teacher, it is satisfying to be able to share these techniques in class and inspire other paper crafters that they too can use stamps, dies and inks to create 3D items.
I used the new Dress Up Riley Stamps and Die to create a St. Patrick’s Day Banner and Treat Boxes. I also used the Clear Valentine/St. Patty’s Accessories Stamps to dress Riley. Inside I used the May Your Troubles stamp.
To create the balloons I used the shamrocks. I stamped some with Kiss Me and Smile from the Valentine/St. Patty’s Accessories Set. I used a thin wire to make the balloons “float” on their own. I attached the wire with a foam square between to shamrocks. The ends I curled around the end of a paint brush. I added glossy accent to the mug to create a glass look. Riley was then attached with foam squares.
The banner also has Riley at the beginning and end of each bannner.
Here are some of my favorite cards and projects I have created for the Riley and Co. Design Team.
This shadow box uses the Mushroom Lane Snowman House.
I have to admit, the Mushroom Lane Stamps have to be my favorite. I love all the details in the stamps. This card features House 3.

It’s Card Bonanza at Riley & Co Blog.
This week I have 2 cards featured along with Design Team members Joy Stagg and Katie Skiff.
I used a shaped die cut on the fold to create the coffee cup shaped card. I sewed lace to the edges of the ribbon. I stamped part of A Poem for Mornings on the top. I used the Cookie Riley (without the cookie).
I stamped the rest of the A Poem for Morning on the inside of the card.
My second card features the Mushroom Lane Polka Dot House 2. The card look flat from the front, but looking at the side father card you can see all the layers. I love making the Mushroom Lane stamps 3D.
Thanks for stopping by. You check out the all the other stamps at Riley & Co.
Today I am sharing a fun card using new stamps and dies from Riley and Co.
I am loving the new Dress Up Riley Stamps and Dies. Here I used the Red Rubber Basic Stamps, Basic Die Set, Clear Accessories Starter Set and the Accessories Starter Die Set. Then I paired it with Funny Bones stamp Craftaholic and Word Bubbles Rectangle Die set.
Riley is almost symmetrical, so I was able to stamp and die cut him twice and glue him together back to back. I chose the top hat because it was also symmetrical. I cut two word bubbles out and stamp half of the sentiment on one, then stamp the rest on the reverse side of the other.
I had fun creating the hidden craft store…

Today I am sharing 2 winter themed cards to go along with the snow we have here in the Midwest. Actually, I have had snow/winter on my brain for almost 2 years. My daughter will be getting married this weekend and the theme is …. you guessed it winter.
The first card uses Snowman and Riley along with some snowflake buttons, and a pom pom.
This one uses Snowball Riley. I created my own slider card for this one… He just looked like he needed to be rolling down the hill.
